Planning a longer move

A long move needs more planning than a local one. Everything on the truck has to be protected for hours of driving, the crew needs access arranged at both ends, and you need to know when the truck will arrive at the new home. That is why the estimate and the delivery plan are agreed in writing before move day.

What we need from you for an accurate estimate

• A room by room list of furniture, or photos or a short video of each room.
• An honest box count, or the number of rooms still to be packed.
• Access at both addresses: stairs, elevators, long walks, gated streets and where a truck can park.
• Your move-out date and the first date you can receive your things.
• Large or special items, such as a piano, safe, gym equipment or artwork.
