Packing services in Los Angeles
Packing is the part of a move that takes the longest and causes the most damage when it is rushed. Kobe Moving can pack your whole home or only the hard parts, such as the kitchen and fragile items.

Full packing or partial packing
Full packing means the crew packs the home for you with the right materials, room by room, and labels the boxes. Partial packing covers only what you choose, which for most people is the kitchen, glassware, framed art and anything fragile. You pack the rest yourself.
Fragile and awkward items
TVs, glass tabletops, mirrors and framed art need more than a box. They are wrapped and padded individually. If you have marble or stone surfaces, tell us when you request a quote so they can be protected properly.
If you are packing yourself
- Use small boxes for books and heavy items, large boxes for light things like bedding.
- Fill gaps inside each box so nothing shifts, and tape the top and bottom.
- Write the room and a short list of contents on the side of each box, not only the top.
- Pack one box of essentials for the first night: chargers, medication, toiletries, a change of clothes.
- Leave fragile items for last if you are unsure, and ask us to pack only those.
Questions about packing services
Can I book packing on a different day than the move?
Tell us on the quote form if you want packing the day before your move. For a larger home, packing ahead of time usually makes moving day shorter.
Are packing materials included?
It depends on the kind of packing and the amount of material used. Your quote will explain how materials are charged for your move.
Can you pack only the kitchen?
Yes, partial packing can be limited to the rooms or items you choose. The kitchen is the most common one.
